Due to the effects of the COVID 19 pandemic and the strict health and hygiene regulations for events in Russia, Messe München feels compelled to cancel baumaCTT RUSSIA, which hadbeen postponed until September. The next bauma CTT RUSSIA will therefore take place from 25 to 28 May 2021 in Moscow, Crocus Expo.
Sergey Alexandrov, Managing Director of Messe Muenchen Rus, explains the reasons for the cancellation: “The health and safety of all those taking part in bauma CTT RUSSIA is our top priority. In addition, it is our goal to offer all participants optimal conditions for a successful trade fair. However, as we are unable to implement this under the current circumstances and in view of the regulations of the authorities, we do not wish to expose exhibitors, visitors or partners to such an uncertain situation”.
The strict health and hygiene regulations that will most likely still be in force in Russia in September include a ban on assembly and restrictions on international travel. These points prevent Messe München from organising bauma CTT RUSSIAat an appropriate professional level. Marina Vashurkina, Project director of bauma CTT RUSSIA, thanked the exhibitors for their understanding: “We were very pleased with the support of many exhibitors and partners in shifting the dates to September. However, we do not want to disappoint the expectations for the new date and have therefore decided that the 21st International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery and Technologies, bauma CTT RUSSIA, will not take place until May 2021”.
