Caribbean Energies Group LLC (CEG) is planning to undertake the Paradise Solar Power Plant in Paradise Park, Jamaica.
Project Details
The project involves construction of a 24 MW photovoltaic farm on 40 ha area. It includes the construction of power house, access roads, installation of photovoltaic cells, laying of transmission line and construction of other related infrastructure.
ESA has signed an agreement to design, construct, commission, monitor and provide operations and maintenance (O&M) service for the project. ESA will also be responsible for obtaining legal permits and other requirements for the proposed power plant.
Construction work on the project is expected to commence in the second half of 2012 with an anticipated completion by the end of 2014.
