To Showcase Cutting-edge Solutions and Best Practices in Integrated Waste Management
The upcoming edition of EcoWASTE, a platform dedicated to showcasing next generation waste management and recycling solutions, will converge some of the biggest names globally in the integrated waste management domain to explore opportunities and debate challenges surrounding the crucial sustainability issue.
Scheduled to run from 19 to 22 January, 2015 during the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW), EcoWASTE 2015 is set to attract international names such as Lavajet, a subsidiary company of Batco that specializes in solid waste management solutions, Averda, a leading provider of environment and integrated resources management solutions, Cubic Art-Pixels, a company that manages licensing and customer care services at “Tadweer” (the Center of Waste Management – Abu Dhabi) and Model Building Maintenance Dallah Waste Management services llc .
H.E Eisa Saif Al Qubaisi, General Manager of “Tadweer”, said: “The overwhelming response from local and international companies to participate in EcoWASTE 2015 and showcase their latest technologies, innovations, solutions and best practices in waste management underlines the growing importance of this platform for the emerging integrated waste management industry. Al Qubaisi added that the high level participation of key stakeholders at the annual event reiterates Abu Dhabi’s prominent position as a global destination that leads sustainability efforts.

EcoWASTE 2015 joins forces with the eighth World Future Energy Summit (WFES) and the second International Water summit (IWS) to promote the interconnectivity between energy, water and waste for a sustainable future. The fifth assembly of the International Renewable Energy Agency and the seventh Zayed Future Energy Prize Awards ceremony will also be collocated with Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week.
Co-hosted by Masdar and Tadweer (Center of Waste Management – Abu Dhabi), EcoWaste seeks holistic solutions for challenges in waste management. The initiative, organized by Reed Exhibitions, is expected to draw more than 2,000 buyers and key industry experts as well as 50 leading companies from around the world to deliberate on international policies and best practices for ensuring a clean and green future.
