BAM Deutschland has won a contract to build a 110m-high office tower in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
The turnkey office scheme is for developer DIC Group and is due for completion in autumn 2017.
The 63,600m2 ‘Winx’ Riverside Tower has been designed by architect KSP Jürgen Engel Architekten. It will have thirty floors and a portal building with a central gateway. The portal contains seven above-ground floors.
Winx is set to become a landmark right by the River Main, in the centre of Frankfurt’s banking district. The ground floor and part of the first floor will be a restaurant.
The building complex includes three underground floors, which offer space for technical rooms, a TV studio, server rooms and more than 175 parking spaces as well as cycle racks. There will also be a ‘sky lounge’ with a panoramic view over Frankfurt.
