Goody Clancy, in collaboration with Elkus Manfredi Architects, has been awarded the planning and phase 1 services for The Ohio State University North Residential District Transformation. The project, which is focused on developing a vibrant on-campus community of learning for OSU undergraduates, is anticipated to set new benchmarks in cost efficiency, approach to sustainability, and transforming the undergraduate experience through new housing and programmes designed to increase undergraduate retention on campus, engagement and academic success.
As an important north gateway to the OSU campus, the new residential district will be designed to strengthen connections with the larger OSU community and the surrounding district and reinforce a dynamic innovation city. The scheme will provide 3,200 new beds and associated programme space.
