A consortium of BAM, Eiffage and Berger Bau has been named as the successful bidder for a €1.1bn (£773m) motorway project in Germany.
The public-private partnership project for Autobahndirektion Südbayern (ABDSB) is known as the Availability Model A94 Forstinning-Marktl. It will involve the design, construction, financing and maintenance of 33km of greenfield motorway between Pastetten and Heldenstein.
In addition to the construction of the new motorway, the contract also includes the maintenance and operation of a 77km-long section of the A94 between Forstinning and Marktl over the 30-year project period.
Financial close is expected to be reached in January 2016.
