FM Conway has secured a renewal for its highway maintenance contract with the London Borough of Bexley.
The new contract starts on 1st October 2015 and runs for an initial four and a half years, with the option to extend for a further five years to 2025.
Under the contract, FM Conway will deliver highway maintenance and civil engineering projects across Bexley. The contractor will be able to use its own construction materials, produced at its recycling and manufacturing facilities across London.
FM Conway chief operating officer Andrew Hansen said: “This is a significant contract win for the business, and we’re thrilled to be continuing our strong working relationship with the London Borough of Bexley.
“Our self-delivery model is built around helping our clients to gain greater control over their highways assets; improving efficiency and taking cost out of the management of the local road network.
Securing this contract demonstrates our ability to deliver highways maintenance services as part of a robust asset management plan, and reflects the value we are able to offer our clients through our unique approach to self-delivery of all services.”
