Skanska has signed an agreement with Obos to build 168 apartments in Oslo, Norway. The contract is worth NOK 344 M, about SEK 370 M, which will be included in the Nordic order bookings for the third quarter 2019.

The project is part of a major transformation of the Ulven district in Oslo. The 168 apartments will be erected in two buildings, five and 14 storeys high, with a total gross area of 16,600 square meters.

Construction is expected to begin November 1, 2019 and the project will be completed in about two and a half years.

Skanska is one of the leading development and construction companies in the Nordics, with operations in building construction and civil engineering in Sweden, Norway and Finland, and developing residential- and commercial property projects in select home markets. The commercial development stream is also active in Denmark. Skanska had sales of about SEK 67 billion and more than 15,500 employees in its Nordic operations during 2018.
