Skanska has signed a contract with Auratum Asunnot Helsinki Oy, a developer of high-class apartments, to convert an old office building in Helsinki, Finland, into 146 homes. Located in a prime area in Helsinki, the building used to house the Finnish Broadcasting Company in the 1990’s. After the renovation, besides the apartments, the eight-storey building will have two rentable spaces for business facilities. There will also be a gym, a spa and other leisure facilities. The apartments on the top floor will have their own terraces.
Skanska will begin its construction works in September, and the expected completion time for the project is end of 2022.
