Constractor Stepnell has begun work on a redevelopment at Cheltenham’s Regent Arcade shopping centre.

Canada Life, which owns the centre, has appointed Stepnell for a 10-month scheme to build a single two-storey store in a prime position next to the centre entrance in the High Street.
Designed by architect Bell Associates, the new store will replace a number of existing shop units whose occupiers have already moved to other premises in the centre. Norman Rourke Pryme is the construction consultant for the project.
