Backstage of a high tech bridge lighting system in UAE
Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) has invested on the project to modernise the architectural lighting of the pedestrian bridge located on Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum Street, as part of its continuous plan to improve the aesthetic appearance of public and service facilities.
The project resulted in many benefits, including, but not limited to improving the level of lighting inside the pedestrian bridge; showing the aesthetic side of the bridge model; highlighting the aesthetic and urban glimpse of the city of Abu Dhabi; and creating a new and innovative cosmetic lighting experience. The municipality confirmed that, within its future plans, it continues to develop, improve and beautify the emirate’s landmarks, using the latest technologies and architectural lighting devices that contribute to adding a distinctive aesthetic character, by using the latest lighting technologies.
