Timber Wolf Lodge in Ely, Minnesota has embarked on a project to restore the resort following the fire damage in 2011.
The resort operator has appointed Davies Construction of Ely to undertake the renovation of the 75-years old resort. Scope of work includes further enhancement of the log exteriors to the resorts, by means of addition of fresh logs. The timber for the scheme will be provided by Voyageur Lumber.
Other work includes conversion of the cabin garages into three season porches. The new cabins will feature beds. In addition, Davies Construction will also add new metal roof to the resort.
The resort aims at procuring maximum possible materials locally, which is likely to boost the economy of the region. The companies involved in the scheme include Serena’s Carpeting, Brown Electric and Schulze Excavating.
