US-based Urban Housing Group has secured the approval of Redwood City Council for the construction of a residential scheme in Redwood City, California, US.

The pipeline project will be developed at the site of former Mel’s Bowl at 2580 El Camino Real in Redwood City. The project involves construction of a four-storey complex that will have 141 residential units.

The numbers include 99 one-bedroom units, 41 two-bedroom units and one studio. The company will offer 136 units at prevailing market rates and five units at lower rates as affordable housing units. The developer is offering several amenities to the residents which will include a club room, fitness gym, pool, and a parking garage with space for bicycles.

Urban Housing Group is a provider of multi-family rental housing and mixed-use developments along the western coast of US. The company is a subsidiary of the Marcus & Millichap Company.
