Virginia College in Jackson, Mississippi, has entered into a lease agreement for a space, which will serve as the new campus of the college for the next 15-years.

The new campus of the college is a 65,000 square feet facility, which is located at 5841 Ridgewood Road in Jackson. The college has earmarked an investment of $5.1 million for renovating the facility. The renovation will be undertaken by Education Corporation of America’s Facilities Design.

The investment will provide for the expenses of construction, furniture, equipment and signage for the new campus. Work on the scheme is scheduled to begin in July 2012, with completion penciled for April 2013. Renovation of the old building is aimed at increasing its visual appeal. The building will be redesigned in a way that it enhances the beauty of the entire neighborhood.
