At the 2025 ARA Show, Wacker Neuson showed off the DV125, its 12.5-ton maximum payload dual-view dumper, which is the biggest one for North America. Moving more material per trip while maintaining the highest level of safety and visibility on the jobsite is made possible by this innovative machine, which combines the advantages of a dumper with the carrying capacity of a truck.
The DV125 features a rotating operator platform that allows the operator to always face the direction of travel. Large windows provide 360-degree views of the jobsite, enhancing safety and efficiency.
“It’s all about safety, and it’s all about visibility – that’s why we have our dual-view concept on these big dumpers,” said Gert Reichetseder, president and CEO, Wacker Neuson Americas. “You can swivel around the seat and either face toward the skip when loading, or if you want to drive somewhere, spin the seat around and drive it like a truck.”
Compact Design for Confined Jobsites
Despite its large payload, the DV125 is designed with an overall length of just 15 feet and a tight turning radius, making it ideal for confined jobsites. Its articulated pendulum joint and hydrostatic all-wheel drive provide excellent traction over uneven terrain. The dumper also comes equipped with automatic eco mode to reduce fuel consumption while maintaining power.
Advanced Features for Operator Safety
The DV125 offers a cutting-edge ROPS/FOPS Level II-certified cab that comes with modern features such as air conditioning, an air-suspended and heated seat, Bluetooth connectivity, and USB ports.
A 7-inch multifunction color display provides front and rearview camera images, machine functions, error alerts, and general information at a glance. Additionally, the Active Sense Control radar system warns operators of approaching objects and, if necessary, automatically slows or stops the dumper when the Stop Assistant function is activated.
Additional features include:
- A speed regulation system that maintains a constant speed.
- Hydrostatic braking, which slows the dumper when the throttle pedal is released.
- An automatic spring-loaded parking brake activated when the engine is turned off, with a manual override option via a toggle switch.
A hill-hold function, safety glass, LED work lights, tilt and skip monitoring, and skip guards all help to further improve safety. An orange seatbelt attached to a green LED light tells bystanders that the driver is safely strapped while running the dumper; a seat contact switch guarantees the operator is seated before the machine runs.
Durability and Maintenance
Built for demanding tasks, the DV125 features a heavy-load axle, reinforced frame, and a durable design to ensure stability and safety during operation. Maintenance is streamlined with a central lubrication system, while lockable, waterproof storage located in the wheel case adds convenience for operators.
The DV125 sets a new standard for safety, efficiency, and durability in the dumper category, making it a standout addition to Wacker Neuson’s portfolio.
