South East Conveyors and Engineering has been awarded a Boral contract for ‘the provision of conveyor goods and services’.

The three-year contract, which took effect from 17th February, will cover operations in both South Australia and Western Australia.

This partnership will better serve Boral and assist with reducing the company’s conveyor maintenance costs. It will allow Boral to deal with one supplier for conveyor belts and associated components as well any necessary fitment, repairs and splicing of conveyor belts.

South East Conveyors & Engineering will also offer its extensive engineering and machining services to Boral as part of the service.

Primarily managed by Tony Drewett’s team in Adelaide, with the initial focus by South East Conveyors & Engineering to establish plant information and gather a sound knowledge of Boral plants in south and Western Australia, the sites will be serviced by the company’s experienced belt technicians, who are trained in all aspects of conveyor service and maintain an excellent safety record.

South East Conveyors & Engineering is backed by fully equipped manufacturing and machining workshops in Mount Gambier, including the manufacture of conveyors, pulleys, load zones, chutes and customised wear products.

This is an exciting time for the company as it looks forward to servicing Boral for many years to come.
