Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) is inviting expressions of interest to participate in waste to energy projects in Lahore, Pakistan.

The Government of the Punjab is currently exploring all possible options to meet the growing challenges of shortage of energy in Punjab and Pakistan.

One feasible option is to produce energy from the municipal solid waste. In this context, LWMC intends to invite expressions of interest for waste to energy projects having capacity of 1,500-2000 tons/day by use of different technological options.

The invitation is open to all national and foreign companies/joint ventures which have sound experience of designing and implementing waste to energy projects from municipal waste.

For foreign firms who wish to submit EOIs it is mandatory that they shall form a joint venture with national (local) companies with a minimum of 30% share of Pakistani partner in the joint venture.
