Dubai, UAE: Hardware + Tools Middle East, the region’s dedicated trade fair for tools, hardware, materials and machinery, will take place from 28-30 September 2021 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, organiser Messe Frankfurt Middle East has confirmed.
The 21st edition of the three-day event will be held in partnership with Zhejiang International Trade Exhibition (Dubai) from China, organised by the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province of China, which will bring a large contingent of more than 40 exhibitors eager to re-engage with distributors, retailers, exporters, importers, contractors, fabricators, consultants and professionals in the construction and industrial sectors.
Dishan Isaac, Hardware + Tools Middle East’s Senior Show Manager, said the event this year will comprise a hybrid format. Visitors to the physical trade fair will experience the latest tools and machinery in-person while online delegates able to connect with suppliers virtually.
An entirely virtual event will also run from 3-8 October 2021 to extend the business networking capability for exhibitors and international online delegates.
“Hardware + Tools Middle East will take place amid a resurgent regional construction sector,” said Isaac. “Even with the global pandemic, the UAE’s construction sector alone was valued at US$101 billion in 2020, and is expected to reach a value of US$133 billion by 2026.
“Regional growth in a post-pandemic world will be backed largely by government visions to help attract more investors into the market. Residential, education, healthcare, transport and renewable energy are among the sectors that will present lucrative opportunities, and in turn, high demand for related construction tools, machinery, and hardware.”
Isaac added that Hardware + Tools Middle East 2021 will also conclude on the eve of the much anticipated Expo 2020 Dubai, which starts its six month run from the 1st October 2021.
“Held under the theme Connecting Minds, Creating the Future, Expo Dubai is on track to attract millions of international visitors,” said Isaac.
“Once Hardware + Tools Middle East concludes, international exhibitors and visitors can take advantage of their time in Dubai and explore the myriad country pavilions and unique features of this six-month long mega event.”
Hardware + Tools will be co-located with another Messe Frankfurt Middle East-organised exhibition, Light Middle East, the region’s dedicated exhibition and conference for architectural lighting design and technology.
