UK-based construction law specialist Fenwick Elliot is to open an office in Dubai.
According to The Lawyer, the firm has chosen Dubai over Doha as the location for its base in the region, which will be an associate office of law firm Ibrahim set up by ex-Freshfields partner Heba Osman and Ahmed Ibrahim.
Managing partner Simon Tolson said: “We are doing quite a lot of work in Doha but we have come to the conclusion that the best business hub for all of our international work would be Dubai.”
Fenwick Ellliot grew revenues by 24% in 2012/13 to £11.9m ($18.4m).
